About Bob Currey
Robert Currey, President of Aviation Services & Sales, Inc., has over
32 years of experience in turbine aircraft
sales. This includes all models of the Beech/Raytheon King Air, Beechjets, Mitsubishi Diamond, Cessna Conquest I & II
and Cessna Citations. Bob holds an FAA ATP certificate with King Air 300, King Air 350, King Air 1900, Mitsubishi
Diamond, Raytheon Beechjet and Cessna Citation Type ratings. Bob flies what he sells with over 6000 Hrs. of incident/accident
free flying. This 6,000+ hours has been accumulated in over 700 different aircraft. This very broad band of "hands on"
experience is key to the complete evaluation of a pre-owned aircraft.
Bob has completed numerous international sales and acquisitions from countries including New Guinea,
Australia, South Africa,
Botswana, and every country in Western Europe. These
international transactions have resulted in many North Atlantic
crossings added to his flying experience.
Bob grew up in the small North East Texas town of Mt. Pleasant where everybody knows everybody. There he learned small
town values and the rewards that come with just plain hard work and doing what you say you'll do. Married for 47 years
to his childhood sweetheart, Bob and Ronah have two grown children and three grandsons ages.
Bob and Ronah both earned B.S. degrees from Texas A. & M. University, Commerce, TX.
Some of Bob's past occupations include being a "seasonal" Park Ranger in Yellowstone National Park during college summer
vacations and guide, outfitter and horse packer in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado. He can still throw a
pretty fair "Diamond Hitch". |
